pay a visit to Castle Howard near York - the setting for the ITV
period drama 'Brideshead Revisited' plus numerous other historic
houses and buildings including Rievaulx Abbey, Kirkdale Minster
etc.
And of course, being within the North Yorkshire
Moors National Park there are numerous places to go walking. In

of Hutton-le-Hole and visit the Ryedale Folk Museum where you can
be transported back in time. All the local pubs do excellent food
and good beer.
Near Malton is where you will find 'Eden Camp'

dangerous years of World War II. For the chilren, Flamingo Land
